Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic potential at the at the time. At her first attempt, she placed among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. A year later Felix earned her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making a junior world record by sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she was the youngest world champion of 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of the events.
